Kaiho is a gentle, positive sense of longing, a desire to pause and linger for a moment within one’s own inner landscape. In a space, Kaiho acts as a quiet, softening presence. It brings depth and rhythm, responding to light and its surroundings, subtly transforming throughout the day.

This handmade Nohi wall textile, crafted in Finland, is a modern interpretation of the traditional ryijy. Hundreds of threads interact with light to create a living surface that shifts with time and viewing angle — at times hazy and atmospheric, at times clear and sculptural.

The piece introduces calm, softness, and the quiet movement of natural forms into a space. It works equally well as a striking focal point or as an element that harmonises the interior. Its dense, flowing structure also gently softens the room’s acoustics.
